Henkle Drilling takes great pride in our ability to provide our customers with a complete groundwater system on a turnkey basis, enabling them to deal with only one contractor throughout the term of the project. Our capabilities include exploratory drilling and formation analysis, well design, well drilling and construction, pumping systems, pump service and maintenance, and well rehabilitation.
Exploratory Drilling and Formation Analysis
Detailed well archives developed over nearly 70 years give us a distinct advantage when analyzing possible well locations. In most cases, it is advisable that a “test hole” be drilled to analyze the underground water-bearing formations and to determine the likelihood of producing a successful well that will meet our customer’s needs and expectations. Throughout this process, downhole geophysical logging is performed along with a detailed analysis of formation samples to determine the geological formation properties, the location of the water-bearing formations and the potential yield of the well.
Well Design
Whether utilizing our own staff of professionals or working in conjunction with one of many respected consulting engineering firms, it is extremely important that the well be properly designed to yield the best possible quantity and quality of water. Well design begins with analyzing the information gathered from the geophysical logs and formation analysis to determine the depth, type and specific location of the water-bearing formations. Determinations are then made concerning the size and depth of the well, casing material and size, well screen design and placement, size and placement of gravel pack, in addition to, well development and test pumping requirements.
Well Drilling and Construction
Henkle Drilling uses both traditional and advanced well drilling and construction techniques to depths exceeding 3000 feet. We are recognized as a leader in the adaptation of reverse-circulation drilling techniques for deep drilling applications, which we have perfected over the past 25 years. Our extensive fleet of drilling rigs allows us to successfully cover the full spectrum of drilling requirements.
Pumping Systems
Our staff of experienced professionals stand ready to custom design a pumping system to fit our customer’s needs. As a stocking distributor of several major brands of submersible and turbine pumps, we inventory all major parts so we can respond quickly to our customer’s needs. Whether designing a system for a new well, or replacing or repairing a system already in place, we have the expertise to design and install a system to meet our customer’s requirements.
Pump Service and Maintenance
Our large fleet of service rigs, highly trained personnel, and large spare parts inventory allows Henkle to respond to service, maintenance and rehabilitation needs for any type of client.
